To facilitate a long-lasting establishment of Yayasan Tirta Lestari work together with Teluk Gong community, we built a Community Center and a Community Library. Working closely with local community groups, we were able to complete several training (e.g. composting, safe water storage and handling, etc.), events (e.g. Earth Day, Sea World field trip, Hand-Washing With Soap Day, etc.), and projects (e.g. communal trash bins, latrines, rainwater collection systems, etc.). We also learned from our drinking water quality tests and user feedback gathered, the significant influence that taste acceptance and practical use factors have over cost and water quality when choosing a household drinking water treatment method.

Additionally in 2011, Yayasan Tirta Lestari phased out of working with both Cilincing and Bintaro Lama communities. Surveys were conducted and community relations established in order to begin working with a new community, Utan Kayu, starting in 2012.
